Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common battery questions.

Check your vehicle owner's manual or look at the label on your existing battery. It will list the group size, cold cranking amps (CCA) and reserve capacity. You can also use our vehicle search tool — enter your make, model and year, and we'll show you compatible batteries.

Flooded lead-acid (FLA) batteries are the traditional type — affordable and widely available, but require periodic water top-ups. AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries are fully sealed, maintenance-free, and can handle deeper discharges and vibration better. AGM is ideal for modern vehicles with start-stop systems or heavy electrical loads.

Under normal conditions, a quality car battery lasts 3–5 years. Factors that shorten battery life include extreme temperatures, frequent short trips (which prevent full recharging), leaving lights on, and infrequent use. Regular testing after the 3-year mark is recommended.

Yes. We offer expert fitment services in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and several other cities. When you place an order, you can request fitment and our team will arrange a convenient time. Fitment charges vary by location and vehicle type.

Old lead-acid batteries contain hazardous materials and must be recycled responsibly. When we deliver your new battery, we can collect your old one for proper recycling at no extra charge. Many manufacturers also offer a core charge rebate when you return your old battery.
